After looking for a more realistic-feeling dildo for the wife I went with the Doc Johnson The D Thin.

The wife sometimes complains about the firmness of toys, so after reading some reviews I thought this would be the perfect toy for her.

Packaging is fine not to tacky, but hasn't got a patch on Lovehoney's office toy packaging.

Theres a little smell, but a few washes and it's fine.

Getting down to busy was easy as it's a more realistic size and she was able to take it at ease.

The product itself was standing tall and proud in it's clear packaging. It even came with a little exposed 'feel me' piece. So I could feel the material the toy was made of before I even opened the packaging. It felt very different from what I'm used to, but it was definitely intriguing. It felt very soft and smooth.

When I took the dildo out the packaging, I was pretty amazed. Of course it didn't feel exactly like the real thing... But it was the closest that I'd ever felt with a dildo before. It was flexible and soft, but with underlying resistance that gave it a fairly realistic texture. And that realistic texture really enhanced solo play for me. It was a complete game changer. The slight curve in the toy made hitting all the right spots very easy. The toy feels very good quality and well made.

Sometimes toys made of this material can have a pretty bad smell attached to them. Though this one wasn't too bad. Giving it a good clean with soap and warm water definitely helped with any plastic smell that lingered on the toy. It was also very easy to clean.

The suction cup sticks very well to the bath, which surprised me because the suction cup itself seemed quite small. So I'm glad to say that so far I haven't run into any issues. The suction cup also makes the toy easy to grip during solo play.

Having bought my wife a few sex toys in the past this was supposed to be the biggest and best yet. In some ways, it has delivered and others it hasn't lived up to the hype.

Firstly my wife loves this dildo she says it is as close to the real thing as we've tried. It isn't too hard but is hard enough to allow extended periods of play that both of us really enjoyed. Though it is nontoxic, it is a porous material, which means bacteria and other unwanted substances can remain within the surface of the product no matter how many times and how thoroughly it is cleaned. This causes the material to degrade much quicker over time making it no longer body safe.
